BLACK HISTORY SUMMIT (27 & 28 FEBRUARY 2025)
- A 2 day high level discussion on Technology, Innovation, History, Industry, Trade and Governance. Will also host special industry workshops alongside the Summit. It will also feature Workshops in the following areas;
- Arts, culture, and tourism,
- Agriculture and food security,
- Real estate and infrastructure,
- health and pharmaceuticals,
- Education, skills development, technology and innovation,
- Finance and investment,
- Law, policies and legislature,

BLACK HISTORY EXPO (27 TO 1st MARCH 2025)
- A 3 day exhibition of Black American, Caribbean and African owned brands under one roof.The Black History Festival 2025 will feature a dynamic exhibition showcasing a diverse array of artworks, artifacts, cultural memorabilia, businesses and tourism brands that celebrate the rich heritage and contributions of African, Caribbean, and African American communities. Attendees will experience powerful visual narratives through paintings, sculptures, photographs, and multimedia installations created by both renowned and emerging Black artists. This exhibition aims to foster cultural appreciation, inspire dialogue, and highlight the historical and contemporary achievements of Black individuals, serving as a vibrant tribute to the 400th anniversary of New York City.
- AFROWOOD FILM EXPERIENCEÂAfrowood Film Experience offers a unique opportunity to engage with African cinema, connect with industry professionals, and celebrate the diversity of African culture from Africa, the Caribbean and America. By bringing together filmmakers, enthusiasts, and industry leaders of African descent, the event aims to inspire collaboration, foster dialogue, and promote positive social change through the power of storytelling. The unforgettable journey through the world of Afro-Caribbean cinema at Afrowood Film Experience to open the Festival on the 27th of February 2025. A hall will be dedicated to the telecasting designated movies throughout the Festival.Â
BLACK HISTORY MAKERS AWARDS AND GALA NIGHT (28 FEBRUARY 2025)
- The climax and prestigious night of recognition, celebration, entertainment, fashion and more, showcasing Global African excellence. The Black History Makers Awards and Gala Night is a prestigious event that would attract the top government officials, renowned entrepreneurs and changemakers, celebrities, the academia, industry captains and special guests as well as nominated awardees and past winners. It will also be a special fundraiser to promote education and health initiatives in Africa and the Caribbean with a strong blend of world class Afrocentric fashion featuring top designers from across America, Africa and the Caribbean. This is a ticketed and strictly by invitation event poised to celebrate achievements of history making individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the African, Caribbean, and African American communities. These awards celebrate trailblazers across various fields such as arts, culture, education, entrepreneurship, and social justice. Recipients are recognized for their exceptional achievements, leadership, and dedication to advancing the legacy and heritage of Black communities. The ceremony, held as part of the Black History Festival 2025 on 28th February 2025.
BLACK HISTORY TOUR (28 FEBRUARY & 1 MARCH 2025)
- A 2 day tour of New York City to experience the 400 years of history and significant locations of black history. The Festival will once again grant patrons the opportunity to experience the history of New York City. The tour will hit the United Nations Headquarters, African Burial Ground National Monument, Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Art, the Statue of Liberty, the Gracie Mansion, the official Mayor’s House, and more. The Tour will be curated by seasoned guides with in depth knowledge of the detailed history of these sites in NYC.
