Description: Join us for a thought-provoking session at the Black History Festival as we celebrate the rich connections between Africa and the Americas. The Africa-Americas Trade and Development Day, nestled within a dynamic panel discussion, serves as a focal point to explore the historical ties, present opportunities, and future potential for collaboration between these two diverse yet interconnected regions.

This event aims to shed light on the economic, cultural, and social exchanges that have shaped the relationship between Africa and the Americas. From the legacy of the transatlantic slave trade to the vibrant diasporic communities that have emerged, we will delve into the historical foundations that have laid the groundwork for present-day interactions.

Day 3 of the Festival will conclude with the Global Africa Market Place, a dedicated exhibition of brands owned, initiated, or led by Africans, or people of African descent from the Americas.

Description: The Black History Makers Awards and Gala Night is a prestigious event that celebrates and honors the outstanding contributions of individuals within the Black community who have made significant impacts in various fields. This annual gala serves as a platform to recognize the achievements of Black leaders, trailblazers, and innovators who have excelled in areas such as business, education, science, technology, arts, culture, and social justice.

During the Awards ceremony, recipients are acknowledged for their remarkable accomplishments, resilience, and commitment to positive change. The event aims to highlight the diverse talents and achievements within the Black community, fostering inspiration and pride among attendees. The gala also provides a space for networking and collaboration, bringing together influential figures, community leaders, and supporters to celebrate the richness of Black history and culture.
